In the past, earthquake relief was provided to El Salvador in 2001 and earthquake relief provided in Haiti, along with a donated excavator shipped to Haiti to dig through the rubble. Equipment such as a Bobcat was donated for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in S. Dakota. Bounce houses were sent to El Salvador, hospital and dental equipment sent to Guatemala, and feeding programs for 1,500 families in El Salvador took place over a three year period. Volunteer Medical teams and youth teams worked in El Salvador for one week trips over the years.
During Hurricane Katrina, Children’s Action Relief, Inc. repaired homes and a church school in a Pascagoula, Mississippi neighborhood.
Children’s Action Relief, Inc. is currently collecting school supplies for local students in need as well as students in Haiti.
